Understandingthe Citations in a Research Paper:
Beforewriting the paper, you would have to chooseone of the five articles that you have used in thepreviousAnnotated Bibliography assignment youhave worked on.Youmight not have the paper by now, so I’m going to attach the workscited page so thatyoucan lookat the articles and choose one.Afteryou have done that, go look at the article from the database(https://library.umbc.edu/)then lookat the “Works Cited” or “References” sections at the end ofthe article. Choose 5of those cited articles. Whenyou’re done with that you can start writing the paper. Thefirst page of the essay shouldexplainthe importance of citing other’s works when writing a paper andwhenit is appropriate to cite other papers(in3 paragraphs).Then,forthe remaining five pagesyouare going to write about thedifferent purposes that the5 citationsyouchose servedin the article, referencing each as you go along.(The first citation helped the article in”¦ , Second citation wasuseful in the article in numerous ways such as”¦ Third citation”¦etc”¦). Thedifferent purposes of each citation for the article should be a pagelong with three paragraphs. Atthe end the seventh and last page should be the works cited page andit should contain the five citations you have chosen. Please makesure the five citations are in APA format, if the five citation arein different format on the works cited page of the article you havechosen make sure you change them into APA format it is extremelyimportant.
