The research paper should be written as a critical reflective analysis (CRA)
The paper should include:
1.An introduction
– Must include clearly articulated rationale for selecting the theory (i.e. saying
it felt right or you liked it, is not sufficient)
– A general argument or thesis
– A brief overview of the paper
2 Literature Review on Theory
– Academic literature review of peer-reviewed sources, including and beyond
those provided within the course
– Evaluative
analysis of literature (not description); exploring strengths and challenges of
this intervention presented in the literature; contributions to critical social work
practice or policy
3.Theory to Practice Implications
O Based on the literature review, apply or critique an organizational practice,
clinical intervention, or policy that impacts the population and issue you
focused on
-Demonstrate that main argument has been articulated in the paper
-Summary of main findings and arguments
-Thoughts on future areas for study or where to go next
