Drama an Important Tool to Use in Teaching Children PP Presentation

The purpose of this class is to expose you to the many available art forms and give you ideas on how to use them to teach children. In order to do that, you will need to do research. You will read articles, the text and use your own experiences. After all the readings, research and teaching you have done, you will prepare a power point presentation that thoroughly covers the art form assigned.

These websites have some great articles about what drama is and activities that can be used with students. I expect a minimum of 6 slides dealing with this explanation.

Do research using the website above, the texts, or articles and websites that you find, for information to answer the questions.
Next – Explain how you would integrate drama into your teaching.
This should include three specific drama activities. Be specific, detailed and thorough in your subject matter and the visual arts activities you would use. I expect a minimum of 4 slides dealing with this explanation.
You need to have a minimum of 6 slides that explain the first questions and a minimum of 4 that explain the second part for a total of at least 10 slides. If you include a “Title” slide and/or a “Works Cited” slide, they would be in addition to the minimum 10 required.
