Each student in ENVS will need to locate and submit a potential topic for the class project by 9.5.2021. You will do this using the discussion board linked here. Each submission must be unique- you will need to review prior submissions to make sure that your topic does not duplicate another students . Therefor, it is very much in your interest to locate and submit your topic as soon as possible.
Your topic should fall within the broad field of environmental science. Some broad categories are presented in the table below- but your actual submission should be targeted and specific. At the same time, make sure that there is literature and research available for your topic.

For your submission, start a new thread in the discussion forum linked here. The title of your thread should be a brief summary/statement of your topic. In your actual post, you should include 1) a short (1-2 sentence) summary of your topic, and 2) a link to an article, web page, or a reference that provides information about your topic.
I’ve posted an example in the discussion board- your post should look similar to this.
